About

During my career as a UI designer at UNIQLO, I was responsible for the weekly refresh of the website materials, special event layouts, and promotional one-page websites.

Here I am showcasing my experience of redesigning the homepage layout to turn the website to branding appeal instead of price appeal. And the overall results showed that the new homepage not only improved the brand value but also provided users a better experience with simplicity and consistency.

Branding Appeal,
Instead of Price Appeal

We plan to improve brand value by telling users our high-quality products, sophisticated design, UNIQLO’s approaches.

As a result, we deducted the price tag from the homepage and provide detailed information by Navigation and Tappables.

simplicity &
consistency

The original website consisted of several different layout modules which made the overall interface a little bit messy. In the redesign, we developed only one general layout module and one special collaboration layout module to maintain simplicity and consistency.
